Product description
In addition to the standard functions, this pick-by-light compartment indicator has a display with a three-digit numerical quantity display. Depending on the required process sequence, this display can be used to indicate a target compartment on a shelf, for example. It can be combined with other components in a PTF system. It is considered standard in a pick-by-light system.
This compartment display variant is used depending on the picking process and the quantities required. A maximum of 999 items can be displayed. Of course, it is possible to display container quantities by using prefixes such as U (for outer packaging).
Alternatively, in Multi-Order-Picking, target bins (orders) could be displayed on a picking trolley on this bin display itself. In addition, Pick by Light additional functions (such as under-quantity correction or zero-passage control) can be activated in the system using the +/- keys or the F key.
You can find out more about the pick-by-light system in the main article on light-assisted picking.
Buy
The display can only be purchased as part of a complete pick-by-light system. Individual items are not sold separately. For existing customers, we also supply it as a spare part.
Why different system names?
pick-by-light
Pick-by-Light refers to a visual picking system in which electronic compartment displays directly on the storage compartment indicate the quantities to be removed.
The removal is usually confirmed by pressing a button on the display.
pick-to-light
Pick-to-Light is a complementary system line within the LUCA picking system.
It comprises several display series with different designs and main areas of application and is used for both classic picking and multi-stage picking and distribution processes.
put-to-light
Put-to-light describes a method of paperless goods distribution in which items are placed in specific target compartments, for example when replenishing flow racks.
