Pick-by-Light Module: PTF-I/O-1

PTF-I/O-1
85 mm x 50 mm
The PTF-I/O-1 module allows peripheral devices to be integrated into existing pick-by-light systems. Four inputs/outputs are available with short-circuit-proof 24V/700mA power at a maximum total current of 2 amps.
This special module ensures the control of peripheral devices even via the four inputs and outputs. These include, for example, the signal supply for acoustic signals, light barriers, sensors, actuators, signal lights, PLC circuits, and/or confirmation buttons.
You can find out more about the pick-by-light system in the main article on light-assisted picking.
Why different system names?
pick-by-light
Pick-by-Light refers to a visual picking system in which electronic compartment displays directly on the storage compartment indicate the quantities to be removed.
The removal is usually confirmed by pressing a button on the display.
pick-to-light
Pick-to-Light is a complementary system line within the LUCA picking system.
It comprises several display series with different designs and main areas of application and is used for both classic picking and multi-stage picking and distribution processes.
put-to-light
Put-to-light describes a method of paperless goods distribution in which items are placed in specific target compartments, for example when replenishing flow racks.
