The new Pick to Light module PTF-OL-1 brings even the graphic display up to the latest technical standard. The OL-1 display has a larger, modern graphic display with OLED technology, which provides a razor-sharp display of process-relevant information. The entire Pick-to-Light system is now even more attractive.
The abbreviation OLED stands for "Organic Light Emitting Diode" (organic LED), which, unlike LCD panels, consumes less energy and is not dependent on external backlighting. Sharper contrasts and therefore optimum visibility of the information displayed from every angle ensure greater safety during error-free order picking. The module is also equipped with tried and tested features. The oval, two-part eye-catching light (2×7 colors) allows two pickers to work in the same zone and the graphic Pick to Light display can be used to show additional information, such as article numbers or short descriptions, in several lines and different font sizes.

The PTF-OL-1 module can be optionally equipped with additional options. These include acknowledgement via LTouch (light touch of the eye-catching light) or completely contactless acknowledgement via sensor (QRS motion sensor). A special highlight is an external input (available as an option) for connecting buttons or signal transmitters directly to the Pick-to-Light module. This can be used to query fill levels, receive status messages from the conveyor system or integrate external acknowledgement signals.
Why different system names?
Pick-to-Light
The method Pick-to-Light involves classic order picking with the aid of compartment displays. The Pick-to-Light display shows the removal quantity directly at the storage compartment. The Pick-to-Light system usually receives confirmation of the removal by pressing a button on the module.
Pick-to-Light
The term is often used in English-speaking countries instead of Pick-to-Light . The Pick-to-Light method is a Multi-Order-Picking method that focuses on the distribution of items that have just been picked to different orders. The method is classically used with a picking trolley (Pick-by-Cart).
Put-to-Light
The put-to-light method clearly defines the distribution of goods to the target compartments. A classic example of this is replenishment in a flow rack.
