What are containers?

Something can be stored or transported in a container. A container comes in different sizes and shapes. Some containers have lids and they can be made of different materials, such as plastic, metal or cardboard. Containers are also called boxes, jars, plastic containers/plastic boxes.

What are containers used for?

Containers are used for transporting, storing or keeping food, liquids, gaseous substances or small/large objects. Containers are particularly well suited in order picking for both small parts (KLTs) and large parts (GLTs). Containers are available in stackable versions in a logistics warehouse for placement on a shelf or on the floor.
