The DUAL LED can optionally display two sets of seven colors. With its 12-digit DOT matrix, the compartment display is suitable for use as a zone display or for displaying scrolling text, for example. In addition, additional functions (such as underfill correction or zero-crossing control) can be activated using the +/- keys or the F key. This display module is used particularly frequently in the LUCA logistics solution Pick-by-Frame®.

Why different system names?

pick-by-light

The pick-by-light method is a classic picking method that uses compartment displays. The pick-by-light display shows the quantity to be picked directly at the storage compartment. The pick-by-light system usually receives confirmation of the pick by pressing a button on the module.

pick-to-light

The term is often used in English-speaking countries instead of pick-by-light. The pick-to-light method is a Multi-Order-Picking that focuses on distributing items that have just been picked to different orders. The method is typically used with a picking cart (Pick-by-Cart).

put-to-light

The put-to-light method clearly defines the distribution of goods to the target compartments. A classic example of this is replenishment in a flow rack.
