In order to show the employee details of the picking process, route description, storage location description or article details, the use of this Pick by Light display PTF-12M-1 is recommended.
Even this Pick by Light compartment display has, in addition to the standard functions, a display with a twelve-digit DOT matrix display on which numeric and/or alphanumeric characters can be displayed as required.

The DUAL LED can optionally display two times seven colours. Due to its 12-digit DOT matrix, the compartment display is suitable for example as a zone display or for displaying scrolling texts. Furthermore, additional functions (such as minimum quantity correction or zero passage control) can be activated via the +/- keys or F key. This display module is used particularly frequently with the LUCA logistics solution Pick-by-Frame®.
Why different names?
Pick by Light
With the method Pick by Light is about classic picking with the help of Pick by Light displays. Here the Pick by Light display shows the withdrawal quantity directly at the storage compartment. The system receives the acknowledgement of the withdrawal mostly by pressing a key on the module.
pick to light
The term is often misused and therefore often Pick by Light confused with. The Pick to Light method is a Multi-Order-Picking method that focuses on distributing articles that have just been picked to different orders. The method is used classically in a Pick by Cart system.
Put to Light
The Put to Light method clearly defines a distribution of goods to the target compartments. As a classic example, the replenishment in a flow rack (German: Durchlaufkanal) can be mentioned here.
