Pick-to-Light Module: PTF-L-1

PTF-L-1 Pick-to-Light Module without display. LED and buttons only

PTF-L-1 (old version) *

70 mm x 50 mm

* replaced by PTF-L-6

This Pick by Light compartment display PTF-L-1 is the predecessor model of PTF-L-6 with round eye-catching light, which is available for already existing systems. It has a slim design itself and has no display, but is equipped with a mechanical acknowledgement button and is used in the standard version for applications where no quantity display is required. With this compartment display, only the withdrawal compartment is signalled (e.g. single item for automotive applications).

With this model in standard design, the removal acknowledgement is made by means of an acknowledgement button. This compartment display can also be used for the C-articles in combination with a central display. In this case, all C compartments of a shelf block are equipped with this display.

Additional employee information can be shown in the system on an info display. The compartment displays on the shelf can be switched on either sequentially or simultaneously. In addition, the F key offers the possibility to store functions (example: colour change).

Why different names?

Pick by Light

With the method Pick by Light is about classic picking with the help of Pick by Light displays. Here the Pick by Light display shows the withdrawal quantity directly at the storage compartment. The system receives the acknowledgement of the withdrawal mostly by pressing a key on the module.

pick to light

The term is often misused and therefore often Pick by Light confused with. The Pick to Light method is a Multi-Order-Picking method that focuses on distributing articles that have just been picked to different orders. The method is used classically in a Pick by Cart system.

Put to Light

The Put to Light method clearly defines a distribution of goods to the target compartments. As a classic example, the replenishment in a flow rack (German: Durchlaufkanal) can be mentioned here.
