Within the Pick to Light PTF-S series, this compartment display offers you a graphic display for showing several lines in different font sizes. In addition to the pick quantity, an item number or a brief description can be displayed, for example. This display also has a dual LED that can display 2 x 7 colors in the Pick-to-Light system.
The PTF-SOL-1 is a compartment display with a horizontally divided oval dual LED for displaying 2 x 7 colors (e.g. for simultaneous operation of two order pickers or as a direction function), correction buttons, graphic OLED display and acknowledgement button.

The +/- buttons themselves can be used to correct the displayed quantity. Thanks to its compact design, the component is particularly suitable for picking small parts, at assembly workstations or in narrow shelving systems.
Why different system names?
Pick-to-Light
The method Pick-to-Light involves classic order picking with the help of compartment displays. The Pick-to-Light display shows the removal quantity directly on the storage compartment. The Pick-to-Light system usually receives confirmation of the removal by pressing a button on the module.
Pick-to-Light
The term is often used in English-speaking countries instead of Pick-to-Light . The Pick-to-Light method is a Multi-Order-Picking method that focuses on the distribution of items that have just been picked to different orders. The method is classically used with a picking trolley (Pick-by-Cart).
Put-to-Light
The put-to-light method clearly defines the distribution of goods to the target compartments. A classic example of this is replenishment in a flow rack.
