Product description
The Pick-to-Light (Pick-to-Light) compartment display has a very slim design and has no display. It also has no mechanical acknowledgement button and is used in the standard version in a Pick-to-Light system for applications where no quantities and no direct acknowledgement on the display is required. This compartment display is only used to signal the removal compartment (e.g. single piece in automatic applications).
With the standard version of the PTF-L-7, picking confirmation is usually carried out via a barcode scanner, RFID reader, PC, etc. This compartment display can also be used for C-items in combination with a central display in the Pick-to-Light system. In this case, all C-compartments of a shelf block are equipped with this Pick to Light display. In addition, a central display with a quantity display and acknowledgement button is fitted to the C-shelf block. Removal from the C-shelf then takes place sequentially.
The L-7 directly shows the removal compartment and the central display shows the required number of items andis also used for removal acknowledgement. The shortage corrections, inventories and zero passage can also be processed via the central display. The L-7 without sensor can also be used as a target display for sorting processes (put-to-light), whereby the delivery to the compartment is acknowledged or monitored by scanner or Pick-Radar acknowledged or monitored.

The display can only be purchased as part of a complete Pick-to-Light system. Individual pieces are not sold. For existing customers, we can of course also supply it as a spare part.
Why different system names?
Pick-to-Light
The method Pick-to-Light involves classic order picking with the aid of compartment displays. The Pick-to-Light display shows the removal quantity directly at the storage compartment. The Pick-to-Light system usually receives confirmation of the removal by pressing a button on the module.
Pick-to-Light
The term is often used in English-speaking countries instead of Pick-to-Light . The Pick-to-Light method is a Multi-Order-Picking method that focuses on the distribution of items that have just been picked to different orders. The method is classically used with a picking trolley (Pick-by-Cart).
Put-to-Light
The put-to-light method clearly defines the distribution of goods to the target compartments. A classic example of this is replenishment in a flow rack.
