If you need to display a quantity at an assembly workstation or in your order picking process in narrow shelving systems, this is exactly the right choice. In addition, you can control 2 x 7 colours in the process sequence at the dual LED.
This display has a three-digit numerical quantity display. Depending on the picking process and the required quantities from a storage location, this compartment display variant is used. A maximum of 999 pieces can be displayed. The display itself complements the Pick by Light system very successfully.

Of course, it is possible to indicate container quantities by prefixing characters, such as U (as in outer packaging). Alternatively, target compartments (orders) on a picking cart could be displayed on this compartment display during the Multi-Order-Pickingprocess. Furthermore, additional functions (such as correction of short quantities or zero-crossing control) can be activated via the +/- keys. It can be combined with other compartment displays/components in a PTF system.
Why different names?
Pick by Light
With the method Pick by Light is about classic picking with the help of Pick by Light displays. Here the Pick by Light display shows the withdrawal quantity directly at the storage compartment. The system receives the acknowledgement of the withdrawal mostly by pressing a key on the module.
pick to light
The term is often misused and therefore often Pick by Light confused with. The Pick to Light method is a Multi-Order-Picking method that focuses on distributing articles that have just been picked to different orders. The method is used classically in a Pick by Cart system.
Put to Light
The Put to Light method clearly defines a distribution of goods to the target compartments. As a classic example, the replenishment in a flow rack (German: Durchlaufkanal) can be mentioned here.
