Optimal material flow is responsible for the performance of every plant. Only the correct processes guarantee success. However, every plant is different and standardization is not easy. We have developed a platform on which every material flow can be mapped. Central control is provided by the LUCA-Server .
Optimal material flow guarantees your success.
We integrate all technology and picking systems on the modern LUCA-Server
material flow
We control the technical material flow, integrate machines and conveyor technology, control high-bay warehouses (HRL) and automatic small parts warehouses (AKL) with their pre-zones, and coordinate destination control and goods issue sorters. We communicate with all higher-level warehouse management systems (WMS) in the material flow system and integrate all our pick-by systems. All communication between the technology and WMS is centralized, monitored, visualized, and thus optimally coordinated with the material flow.

WMS connection
LUCA implements every connection to a warehouse management system (WMS). Our software developers have various technical options at their disposal. From connections via databases, files, queues, direct interfaces such as web services, TCP/IP socket connections, to various SAP connections.
hardware connection
The connections to the subordinate PLC controllers, machines, devices, and picking systems (Pick-by-Light, Pick-by-Frame®, Voice Picking, etc.) are implemented via the on-site network. A wide range of interfaces are available to us. A direct connection to the Siemens PLC controllers is implemented, for example, via the RFC1006 protocol. The programming effort on the PLC side is very low. If necessary, the interfaces are developed accordingly.
control processes
The modular design of the LUCA server allows standardized and customer-specific modules for process control to be connected. Any task can be implemented. The processes communicate with the databases, save your tasks, and report back the status messages.
response times
Based on the professional software design of the LUCA server, response times to the interfaces are only a few milliseconds. Thanks to the multitasking structure, many tasks can be processed simultaneously. This enables us to create very fast and large systems.
